Our mixed nutrition feed brings protein and energy sources together in one blend, for farmers who would rather not assemble a ration from separate components. It suits growing stock and herds where consistency matters more than fine-tuning. It is dry, so it stores far better than a wet feed — the usual reason farmers choose it over Beer Poosa.

Common questions

Why choose mixed feed over Beer Poosa?

Storage, mostly. Mixed feed is dry and keeps for weeks, so it suits farmers without shaded storage, those keeping only one or two animals, or anyone who can only buy once a fortnight. Beer Poosa is cheaper per kilogram of protein, but only if you can use it before it spoils.

Does it replace green fodder and minerals?

No. It is a concentrate, not a complete ration. Keep green fodder, dry roughage and a daily mineral mixture alongside it — the mineral mixture in particular is the most commonly skipped item and it affects both yield and fertility.

Can I feed it alongside Beer Poosa?

Yes, and many farmers do. Adjust total quantities so you are not overfeeding protein and energy together; call us with your herd details and we will suggest a split.
